Where is the Gadget Fix – MLK store located?
Gadget Fix – MLK is located at 1608 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, we are on the corner of MLK & Weidler on the same block as AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint. We have indoor parking access off of MLK.
Do you sell cell phone repair parts?
No, at this time we do not sell parts without Gadget Fix doing the repair.
Can Gadget Fix unlock my phone?
How long will it take to repair my gadget?
Repair times vary on the type of repair and our current work load. Depending on the method you use to get your gadget to us, some devices can be repaired within as little as an hour, but some repairs may take up to a few days.
Also, sometimes, but not often, we are out of a specific part to repair your gadget. Under these circumstances, your repair may be delayed 3-10 business days depending on the arrival of your replacement part(s).

Nope, we just like the portable stuff but give us a call anyways to see if we now someone who does!
Does Gadget Fix repair TV's?
No, we have found that the cost of fixing an out of warranty television is just to close to replacing it with a new one.
What is the ``Bench Fee`` for?
The non-refundable bench fee (associated with liquid damage repairs and non-responsive gadgets) covers the cost of labor when your gadget is not repairable in the attempt to revive your device.
What is the difference between a NEW and REFURBISHED phone?
New means the phone has never used or activated.
Refurbished means components have been fixed or replaced.
Whats included in the price when I purchase a phone from Gadget Fix?
At Gadget Fix we include the following with the purchase of a new or refurbished phone:
- 6 Month warranty
- 1 Home or car charger
- Contact/data transfer from your old device / phone to new device / phone.
What does my 6 month warranty cover?
You complementary 6 month warranty covers you when the gadget malfunctions in a way they the user could not prevent, for example:
The digitizer (touchscreen glass) freezes or stops working or the device is just doing strange things that are not network related such as the camera flash turning on randomly, etc.
IT DOES NOT COVER:
The phone being physically damaged or liquid damaged.

Repair times vary on the type of repair and our current work load. Depending on the method you use to get your gadget to us, some devices can be repaired within as little as an hour, but some repairs take up to a few day.
Also, sometimes – but not often, we are out of a specific part to repair your gadget and the repair would have to wait for the the part to get in which can take 3-10 business days.
As soon as a repair are completed and payment is received your device will be mailed out to you.We use USPS Priority or First Class (2-3 days depending on the season) to ship back to you.
Is there a charge for shipping back to me?
Do you buy broken phones for parts?
Yes and no, it really depends on the phone that you have and what is wrong with it. If it is older than a couple years it is more than likely that we will just be able to recycle it for you but the best thing would be to call or stop by your local Gadget Fix to get more information!
